JSSC Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Here are the eligibility criteria for the JSSC Police Constable Recruitment 2024:

Age Limit:

• The candidate must be at least 18 years old.
• The maximum age limit for candidates from the unreserved and economically weaker sections is 25 years old.
• The maximum age limit for candidates from extremely backward and backward classes is 27 years old.
• The maximum age limit for female candidates from the unreserved, economically weaker section, extremely backward classes is 28 years old.
• The maximum age limit for male and female candidates for Scheduled Tribes/Scheduled Castes is 30 years old.

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized education board.

Selection Process:

• The selection process will consist of a written test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and medical examination.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Measurements:

• Height: 160 cms ( Male candidates belonging to General or Other Backwards Caste), 155 cms ( Male candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe), 148 cms (Female Candidates of all categories)
• Chest: 81 cms ( Male candidates belonging to General or Other Backwards Caste), 79 cms ( Male candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe)
• Running: 10 km in 60 mins ( Male candidates belonging to General or Other Backwards Caste), 5 km in 40 mins ( Male candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe)
